Three Wins at St Neots Regatta 2026

On Saturday 25 July and Sunday 26 July, the London Otters made a splash at the St Neots Regatta, bringing a massive contingent of more than 70 rowers, coxes, and supporters for our 12th outing at this iconic summer event!

St Neots has always held a truly special place in the heart of our club. For many Otters, this regatta offers their very first glimpse of side-by-side sprint racing, their first time taking on the water in smaller boats, and—for three fantastic crews this weekend—their very first tastes of regatta victory.

The competition was fierce, but the work put in during training paid off on the water with three brilliant victories across the weekend:

  • Senior Open 8+: Defended their 2025 title in style with a dominant performance on Saturday.

  • Women's Double Scull (2x): Congratulations to Anna and Hannah for taking top honors in their event on Saturday!

  • Women's Single Scull (1x): Huge congratulations to Kate for a commanding victory on Sunday!

Whether taking home medals or putting in stellar performances in tough heat matchups, every single crew represented the club with power, skill, and pride.

Beyond the race results, what truly made the weekend unforgettable was the culture on the bank. The Otter spirit was alive, loud, and kicking from dawn until dusk.

An event on this scale—our biggest regatta representation in club history—does not happen without an extraordinary team working behind the scenes. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this weekend seamless, safe, and successful.

St Neots 2026 was a powerful reminder of what makes London Otters so unique: competitive ambition, deep community roots, and a whole lot of heart.
