Making History: London Otters Debut at Henley Masters Regatta

History was made on the water this July! On Friday 10 July and Sunday 12 July, the London Otters fielded our first-ever crews at the prestigious Henley Masters Regatta.

Competing on the world-famous Henley stretch against top-tier national and international competition, this marked a monumental milestone for our club—signaling to the rowing world that the London Otters have truly "arrived" on the Masters racing scene.

A huge, well-deserved congratulations goes to the trailblazing athletes who represented the Otters on the iconic Henley course:

• Open Masters B Coxed Four (4+): Michael W, Robbie B, Chris W, and Des H, expertly coxed by Kieran A.

To go from a newly formed community club to qualifying and competing at Henley Masters is a testament to the growth, athletic ambition, and maturity of our squads over the years.

As our membership continues to develop across all age groups and skill levels, establishing a strong presence at premier events like Henley Masters opens up exciting new competitive pathways for our senior rowers.
