Rainbow Races 2025

On Saturday 18 October, the London Otters Rowing Club hosted the annual Rainbow Races at the Royal Albert Dock and raised £1,192 for Not a Phase. Breaking the £1,000 mark is a fantastic milestone, and everyone who rowed, donated or cheered us on should feel proud.

A huge congratulations to our winning crews, who took home a pair of rainbow laces from Stonewall. These were presented by our local MP for West Ham and Beckton, James Asser, and Newham Council Chair, Dr Rohit Dasgupta. It was brilliant to see our community leaders join us in standing together against homophobia and transphobia in sport.

A big thank you as well to the Dockside Café, who donated part of their profits on the day to support the fundraising effort. We’re so grateful for the local support that helped make this event such a success.
